| Sheeree Dela Pena holds a B.S. in Health Sciences and a minor in Dance from SJSU. Her journey with dance began as a high school student as a member of IndepenDance Company. Since then, she has continued to cultivate her interest in movement by studying various styles of dance and martial arts. She spent two years as a company member of University Dance Theatre at SJSU and since then, has trained with the Adage Repertory Company, Facing East of Berkeley and most recently, SJDanceCo. Her goal as an IM and CAM instructor is to help cultivate the passion and growth that drives creativity in dance. |

| Megan Haro has been apart of the Vanguard family for the past 8 years, performing with both the Cadet Corps, and the A-Corps Color guard. She has traveled all over the country performing with Vanguard, as well as, with the San Jose Raiders Winter guard. Her passion as a performer and her love for kids has instilled the desire to work with growing dancers, allowing them the opportunity express themselves as a creative artist. Her goal as a CAM instructor is to plant seeds of creative freedom in the children, while building coordination and body awareness. |

| Onel Higginbotham |

| Onel Higginbotham has been training in dance for the past 12 years. He studied the techniques of jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop and used his dance abilities to perform with the Logan color guard. He is currently a member of Footnotes Dance Company, developing his skills to be a dancer and performer. Most recently, he has been teaching for various schools and groups, such as, Ventura B, Dublin High School, Wilcox High School and Ohlone College. His goal as an IM instructor is to develop and strengthen the technique of the dancers to their best ability. |

| Noreen Kinohi has been dancing for 14 years, training in ballet, jazz, hip hop, production and tap. At the age of 14, she began competing in dance at a National level with her studio, Sherri's Born to Dance. As an advance dancer, she had the opportunity to teach the beginning dancers where she found her other passion working with children. At present time, she is studying dance in various studios in order to broaden her knowledge in performing arts and to continue to enhance her technique and passion. Her goal as a CAM instructor is to share her knowledge of performing arts to all students that are inspired to dance. |

| Alice Oshiro |

| Alice Oshiro has been exploring Hip hop style for the past 6 years. She began at Mission Dance and Performing Arts, and soon discovered the dance program at Ohlone College. Dancing in the Ohlone dance program presented several opportunities to perform as well as provide student choreography for various showcases. After dancing for three years, she has choreographed and danced for various groups, including Khamai Dance Company. Her goal as an IM instructor is to allow her dancers to find confidence and style in Hip Hop choreography. |

| Desiree Dela Pena has been involved in youth performances for the past 4 years as the Performing Arts teacher at Merryhill Academy, a pre-kindergarten thru eighth grade private school, where she has choreographed and directed numerous productions for the family audiences such as "Holiday Land", "Blast to the Past: the Musical", "Multicultural Festival 2006", "Winter Wonderland", "Spirit of the Season", and "Journey through the Decades" as well as, smaller shows, featuring only 3-5 year old students. Striving to be spread the influence of expressive dance within the community, she has choreographed pieces for several groups in the Bay Area in the styles of modern, jazz, waltz, cha cha, swing, tango, and hip hop. Her introduction to performing and choreographing began as a member of the IndepenDance Company of San Jose where she developed her passion for dance in all forms. She then joined the Adage Reparatory Company, enhancing her techniques as an expressive artist. Presently, she is a member of Bliss, a women's dance company based in Fremont, Ca. At present time, Desiree is receiving her Bachelors of Science in Creative Arts with a minor in dance. Her ultimate goal for the students of the Santa Clara Vanguard Dance Programs is to provide a non-competitive environment for dancers of all levels to express themselves through creative and inspired movement. |
